Now that there is light at the end of the tunnel, there is renewed hope for better days ahead, it’s an opportunity to travel new roads and take hold of fresh opportunities.
We sat down with S2F Media Creative Director Warren Albutt to discuss where the idea for S2F Media came from, and why did he choose to launch at such a time? Plus, what does this mean for the future of S2F Marketing?

Three years ago, we began doing bits of animation for clients who wanted their customers to see something different from them. After a year, we began investigating the future of marketing, such as video, animation, YouTube etc., then we ramped it up and continued to expand our horizons.
After we started working alongside other suppliers of video and animation equipment, we took on Ben, our Videographer, in 2019. There was such a magnificent response to our work that we thought something like S2F Media would be ideal for one-off projects, rather than retainers.
Then, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, video became so much more important to marketing. We knew there were several government funded grants out there that could help us to diversify into the market of photography and video, so Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership very generously supported us in this new venture. We would especially like to thank them as their funding helped us to buy new equipment for our projects.
We are passionate about bringing business into the UK, so we hope to bring in work for our suppliers as well as for S2F.
Think Allowed is a business that was recommended to us a few years ago, as a company who work very well with 3D CGI services. We can certainly back them up there!
Our working relationship is excellent, and we are more than happy to use each other’s locations in Birmingham and Nottingham.
Our experience has always been with the industrial sector, but we are also eager to help all the industries that have been badly hit by the recent pandemic.
As mentioned before, S2F Media will ideally work with one-off projects, so this opens the gate to anyone who wants to walk into the garden. It would be nice to work more in the leisure sector, as we all know how badly they have been affected in the last year.
There have been some lovely comments both externally and internally; people especially love the brand! From the many videos we have posted on social media, the reactions have been superb.
The response to our launch certainly surpassed all expectations! It was very heart-warming; the team have also collectively received a lot of encouraging feedback.
Absolutely! I relish working with both. Having the support of Steve Jolliffe (Managing Director, S2F Marketing) allows me to keep a close eye on S2F Media as it grows.
Everyone from S2F Marketing will get involved with S2F Media, from scriptwriting, to editing, to photography, it will be a joint effort, providing best service and expertise that comes with the 15 years of experience that S2F Marketing brings.
To add to that, S2F Marketing has recently invested £30,000 in a new CRM system, which will help us work more efficiently for our customers. Because, at the end of the day, looking after our customers has always been one of our top priorities.
I am immensely proud of the team effort to ensure that we have grown, but I am also very appreciative of the loyalty shown by our customers. In a time like this, they have really understood the importance of marketing.
S2F Media will enjoy “creating impact” over the coming years and making that big difference to our clients’ marketing and brand perceptions. We will continue producing informative blogs and creative content for our potential customers for many, many years to come.
2021 is looking to be a very fruitful year for us and our clients, and long may it continue!
